Silver Package [800$ / Month]: With a bronze package, you horse will be groomed by our staff, provided water, his or her stall cleaned weekly. You must provide the food you wish for us to feed your horse, as well as any training; you must train your horse yourself in any of our quality training arenas. Lessons for you and your horse are provided, however. You must pay for any veterinary care at the Vet's Office. If paid late, a fee of $200.00 will be added to the total price for that month.
Gold Package [1,500$ / Month] With the gold package, your horse will be groomed weekly by our staff, and his or her stall cleaned once a week. We will provide food and water for your horse, but you must train the horse yourself in any of our quality training arenas. Lessons for you and your horse are provided. Veterinary care is also provided on-site for minor injuries, such as sprains, fractures, scrapes, cuts, infections, and the like. You must provide any mineral supplements, treats, tack, or medication. If paid late, a fee of $400 will be added to the total price for that month.
Platinum Package [2,500$ / Month] With the advanced package, your horse will be groomed weekly by our staff, and his or her stall cleaned once a week. Secretary - 0/2 positions filled The secretary makes sure that all of the files on the computer and on paper are in order. They make sure the main office looks nice and neat and keep track of the monthly payments for the boarders. They are also in charge of updating the stable's website with current events and such, as well as posting memos about events at && THE SILVER LINING. For each duty that the secretary performs successfully, they earn $370.00 Prerequisites: Excellent customer service skills, good people skills, knowledge of how to operate a computer and Microsoft Excel.
Gardener/Landscaper - 0/2 positions filled These people make sure the appearance of the building and fields are neat and trim. They also make sure that the pasture's grass is growing properly and they also make sure that there are no poisonous or hazardous plants around to cause harm to the horses. The gardener also mows the lawn, plants flowers, tends to the flowers, and overall keeps the outside a beautiful place. For each maintenance duty performed, a gardner/landscaper earns $450.00 Prerequisites Knowledge of which plants are dangerous/deadly to horses, ability to be on their feet for long periods of time, and operate and ATV/Mower.
Stable Hand - 0/3 positions filled The stable hands are what keep && THE SILVER LINING running. They muck out the stalls, groom the horses, and feed the horses every week. For each horse cared for, a stable hand earns $600.00 Prerequisites Obviously a love of horses, strong drive to work. Must be responsible, reliable and a good role model.
Trainer - 0/2 positions filled Trainers make sure that each horse gets a little special lesson each time it trains. They train the horses on the advanced and diamond packages, as well as giving lessons to the horses and riders who request it. For each horse trained or lesson taught, the trainer earns $650.00 Prerequisites Previous experience necessary. Must be good with children and riders of all ages and abilities.
Veterinarian - 0/1 position filled The veterinarian makes their way around the stables to make sure that all of the horses are in good health. He inspects each one and makes sure that no ailiments are present, and if each gets a clean bill of health, then we know our stable hands and gardners are doing their jobs. The vet also assists with foaling, pregnant mares, and any other injuries a horse may have. For each inspection that has a clean bill of health, a vet earns $700.00. For each time he treats a sick or injured horse, he earns $850.00 Prerequisites Must present certificate of veterinary school -- previous experience preferred but not required.
